Will You Say Yes To New York?

“Would you give your all for yours?”- Nicki Minaj, Freedom

In the last post, I talked about planning a trip for myself soon. A place that I’ve really wanted to visit for a very long time. I have never been, and because I’m going through such a deep transformation right now, I figured, why not just plan the trip? I am currently in a position where I don’t have all of the physical evidence of me going, but I do have the faith. I was met with the statement, “Just because you don’t have something today doesn’t mean you can’t have it tomorrow, or even a couple of months from now.” Uncertainty shouldn’t rob me of the joy of the vision, of what I know that can happen, because this isn’t impossible. I dream it because a version of me that goes to New York exists; she already lives in that timeline.

To me, New York isn’t just a city, it’s a frequency. A place full of the unknown and independence that I haven’t quite stepped into yet. Fast-paced, bold, and it represents the readiness and freedom I’ve always wanted for myself to evolve. So in your case, you may not want to go to New York, and that’s fine, but I use this as an example. When I ask you, will you say yes to New York? I’m asking, will you say yes to YOUR New York? Will you choose to step into that new version of yourself? Will you plan the trip anyway, even if you can’t see all of the details yet? Will you take a leap of faith even when you don’t know how you will get to the destination?

Saying yes to the journey is the decision you're making.

That’s the first step, and planning the trip anyway is your energetic yes to you choosing yourself, choosing your happiness over doubt. So what I’m saying is, sometimes you have to just bet on yourself even when you don’t know what the outcome will look like, and if you believe enough, that’s where the magic happens.

Just Say Yes.
